Having seen snow on the ground for almost six months I'm suffering from cabin fever. This is a great time of year to head outdoors, with a multitude of activities to get you excited. Ice fishing is tremendous at this time of year, but if fishing isn't your game why not head out and look for shed antlers? Finding the paddles off a big moose or antlers from a deer or elk will generate excitement and provide a unique souvenir from Alberta wildlife. You could even search for areas to put up game cameras and get the first pictures of this year's crop of fawns and calves that will be taking their first steps in mid to late May.
