Citizen Science plays role in conserving water resources

Volunteers from the Northern Lights Fly Fishers club (a Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada) are playing a vital role in helping scientists collect data along tributaries of the Pembina watershed. This data is helping fisheries managers better understand the impacts of industry, poaching and other factors on the decline of arctic grayling.  The five-year study has been funded by the Alberta Conservation Association for Trout Unlimited to carry out this work.
