Open houses will be taking place across Alberta this month to gather input from anglers on what they would like to see to increase angling opportunities and a direction for fishery management. Let's Go Outdoors

Albertans are invited to share their thoughts on fisheries management and expanded fishing opportunities at 11 open house events across the province.

The open houses will share details on fisheries management in Alberta and collect public feedback on proposals to open up additional opportunities for recreational harvest at specific lakes. Beginning Jan. 13, interested anglers may also submit feedback online at TalkAEP.Alberta.ca.

Feedback will be reflected in the 2020 Alberta Sportfishing Regulations, which come into effect on April 1.

For details regarding upcoming open house events plvisit TalkAEP.alberta.ca. We hope you will take the time to get involved.
