It has been a long time since Hasse Lake held any game fish. This spring marked the first time the lake was stocked with Rainbow and Tiger Trout. The lake is not deep, therefore an additional step was taken to ensure fish would survive Alberta's long winters, that means the installation of an aeration system.
The Alberta Conservation Association took the lead on this project and after many months of planning and construction, Hasse Lake is ready to bubble up. In this video we look at how all of the pieces of this project came together.
